I dreamt of my younger dad being dead. Upon going to check him during the burial day I saw he wasn’t dead and he was smartly dressed in a suit he rose and started walking towards me I entered the house and closed the windows and I heard if I couldn’t close the windows he could get through them it was so scary
Dreams involving family members, especially parents, often tap into deep emotional connections, fears, and reflections on relationships. In your dream, the following elements stand out and can be interpreted in various ways:
Younger Dad: Seeing your father as younger may symbolize a desire to reconnect with or understand a different aspect of him—perhaps his past or a time when he was more energetic or carefree. It could also indicate your own feelings about aging and the passage of time.
Death and Burial: Death in dreams often represents transformation, change, or the end of something rather than a literal ending. It could signify a fear of loss or change in your relationship with your father, or a broader anxiety about mortality or the dynamics of family relationships.
Rising and Walking Towards You: Your father rising from the dead might symbolize confronting unresolved issues or emotions regarding your relationship with him. It could also represent your desire to connect or communicate with him more deeply.
Closing Windows: Windows in dreams often symbolize the boundaries between the external world and our inner feelings or thoughts. Closing the windows suggests a desire to protect yourself from emotional exposure or fear of something entering your life—this could represent fears of vulnerability, change, or the consequences of unresolved feelings.
Fearful Presence: The fear you felt when you heard that he could get through the windows points to a struggle with emotions that you might find overwhelming or difficult to confront. It suggests a tension between wanting to keep certain feelings or situations at bay while also recognizing that they can't easily be ignored.
Overall, your dream may reflect feelings of anxiety about your relationship with your father, concerns about change or loss, and perhaps an inner conflict between wanting to engage with these feelings and the fear they provoke. It could be beneficial to reflect on your current relationship with your father and any changes, feelings, or unresolved issues that may need attention.
